The Orange Knowledge Programme aims to advance the development of the capacity, knowledge and quality of both individuals as well as organisations both in the field of higher and vocational education and in other fields related to the priority themes in the programme countries.
Scholarships for mid-career professionals
One of the instruments offered by the Orange Knowledge Programme consists of individual scholarships, which are open to mid-career professionals who are nationals of and living and working in the following countries:
We emphasise that these scholarships are also open for applicants from francophone countries.
Scholarships are available for a selection of:
- short courses (duration 2 weeks to 12 months);
- master's programmes (duration 12 – 24 months).

Application process and deadlines
The application process for a scholarship is handled by the Dutch education institution. For more information on the eligibility criteria and how to apply, we kindly refer you to the Study in Holland website.
Application deadlines vary per institution. After selecting a course, you need to contact the Dutch institution directly for more information about the application deadline.
There are 3 application rounds for individual scholarships in 2019. For the February application round, there will be extra budget for Masters and Short courses for applicants of Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Palestinian Territories, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Mali, Nigeria and Niger.
Provisional opening for other application rounds will be 6 June 2019 and 5 September 2019.
