The Netherlands Enterprise Agency provided information about the changes to law and regulations in 2019. As an entrepreneur, you are faced with new and modified rules and laws. On the website business.gov.nl  you will find all the information you need.

A few examples of the changes you will face:

  • Doctors must provide traceable data on implants in the national implants registry; 
  • Companies must report which measures they have taken to save energy;
  • The duration of the 30% tax facility for highly skilled foreign employees will be reduced from 8 to 5 years;
  • The brutto amounts for the statutory minimum wage and youth minimum wage will increase;
  • Shop owners will no longer obliged to adhere to changes to obligatory opening hours made without their prior consent.
