On the behalf of the Dutch Employers Cooperation Programme (DECP) and with the support from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we are continuously looking for ways to improve foreign students’ experiences in the Netherlands, including curricular, cultural and personal experiences. DECP is therefore carrying out a survey among former scholarship recipients.
The former Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) - and later the Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) - is one of the ways through which namely African students had the opportunity to experience Dutch higher education as well as Dutch culture. The programme allows scholarship recipients to acquire international knowledge and skills that are believed to contribute to African students’ greater employability in their home countries and thus the development of the economies of those countries.
Given your personal and former participation in Dutch higher education and culture through the NFP and OKP programmes, we are convinced the experience you had in the Netherlands, is of utmost value in order to build a clear vision of 1) what it is like for African students to immerse into Dutch higher education as well as the according culture and 2) what are the practical outcomes of such a unique experience. The gathered knowledge will then in turn serve as a basis to enhance future African students’ overall experience in the Netherlands through the current OKP.
As such, you are invited and encouraged to participate in the following confidential survey. This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Please complete the survey vie below button as soon as possible.
As stated earlier, the responses you provide to us are of the greatest value and will help us getting insights on what already works well and what still needs to be improved. Therefore, your participation to this survey is vital to the success of our efforts to enhance the current scholarship programme.
Your time and participation are greatly appreciated.
