Holanda Conecta - Diversity and inclusion linked to innovation
Diversity and inclusion linked to innovation were the topics of the last Holanda Conecta that took place last Friday (02/14/20) in São Paulo. Inclusion is innovation!Companies that maintain policies of equality in the workplace are 11 times more creative and bold, increasing even the number of patents registered and company productivity.The conversation was guided by Ana Bavon. She is the founding partner of Business for People consultancy in Diversity and Inclusion. She is certified in Gender Based Analysis by the Canada Government, also certified by UN Women in Womens' Leadership and Decision Making. Qualified in International Frameworks for Gender Equality by UN Women. Soft Skills teacher and trainer. Member of the Ethics, Diversity and Equality Committee at IBDEE.In the debate, the Accenture study on the relationship between diversity and creativity was analyzed. It was also discussed how Brazilian companies can create more inclusive algorithms and meet talent banks aimed at black and trans women. Some examples of real inclusion policies were shown and it was discussed how to apply such measures in practice.It was an interesting night, in which professionals from different backgrounds were able to better understand the job market and discuss ideas and solutions that make it more inclusive and embrace differences.Check out some photos of the event!
