How the Netherlands Learned to Feed the World

Despite its small size and dense population the Netherlands makes far more food than it can eat. This is how a nation that was once starving under the Nazis has now become a world leader in farming techniques and agriculture technologies.

The video shows how the Netherlands has the second largest agricultural export in the world. Even thought the Netherlands is small in size, the Dutch learned how to cultivate the land in the most efficient way. It also show how historically the Netherlands innovated the agricultural sector, to make sure there would not be another food shortage as the country suffered in the Second World War.
