The theme of this year's International Women's Day is #BalanceforBetter, because a balanced world is a better world. By celebrating women's achievements and raising awareness against bias. Funmilayo Odebola-Fadimine challenged the traditional idea of a woman's role and wants to be a role model for women in her surroundings.

Funmilayo Odebola-Fadimine had the opportunity to learn and grow through the Orange Knowledge Programme. The objective of the Orange Knowledge Programme is to contribute to a society’s sustainable and inclusive development. The programme aims to do this by strengthening the skills and knowledge of both individuals, groups of individuals and organisations. It offers scholarships, training and institutional partnerships between education institutions in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and higher education, in fields related to the priority themes of the Dutch government.

With a balanced world as a goal, Funmilayo Odebola-Fadimine's story is an inspiring one. Watch the video of how Odebola-Fadimine tries to become a leading example for other women.
