Nuffic Neso China hosts networking reception in Beijing!

On 21 June 2017, Nuffic Neso China has organised a Business-Education Reception at the Residence of the Ambassador in Beijing, to facilitate the enhancement of collaboration between education, alumni and Dutch (-affiliated) businesses.

In collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Netherlands Alumni Network in China (NANC), Edvance Education International and Bencham Benelux Chamber of Commerce, Neso China has hosted a network reception for the Sino-Dutch Consortium: the largest Dutch University of Applied Sciences delegation that has ever come to China. The reception was organized at the Residence of the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Beijing.

The delegation, consisting of the leaders of 10 Universities of Applied Sciences and the Dutch Association of Applied Sciences (Dutch: Vereniging Hogescholen), headed by former Vice Prime Minister Thom de Graaf, has explored intensified cooperation between Universities of Applied Sciences and Dutch (-affiliated) businesses in China, and has met with alumni from Avans, Fontys, Hanze, Hogeschool Zeeland, NHL, Saxion, Stenden, The Hague, Van Hall Larenstein and Zuyd. The event was opened by Deputy Head of Mission Mr Driessen and featured speeches of delegation leader Mr de Graaf and Nuffic Neso China Director Mr Hoedt.
