Thirteen Dutch universities in the top 350 of the QS World University Rankings

The QS World University Rankings® 2019 include 13 universities in the Netherlands, all ranked within the world's top 350, and an impressive seven of these are within the global top 150. 

The nation’s highest-ranking institution is Delft University of Technology at 52nd in the world, with the University of Amsterdam and Eindhoven University of Technology not too far behind, at 57th and 99th respectively. High quality education in combination with relatively favorable tuition rates and a high level of English makes the Netherlands one of continental Europe’s most popular choices for international study.

The top six Dutch universities in the QS World University Rankings 2019 are:

  • Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) - 52nd
  • University of Amsterdam - 57th 
  • Eindhoven University of Technology - 99th
  • University of Groningen - 120th 
  • Leiden University - 122nd 
  • Utrecht University - 124th
