Summary


My career spanning a period of over 20 years includes practical / competence based training with Baraka Agricultural College, experience in the fields of human resource management, administration, general management and a development facilitator with NGOs and Community Based Organizations (CBOs). I have been involved in numerous training and development assignments in Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, Ireland and Netherlands.

Long term experience in Rural development projects across Eastern Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda and South Sudan).I initiated several outreach programmes with communities in various parts of Kenya and created linkages in Uganda, Tanzania and Southern Sudan with different Partners in Education, Agriculture and Natural Resources Development. I served for several years as a Coordinator and Manager in Agricultural and Livelihood Projects of Kamara- Lare Nakuru; facilitated responsive and dynamic solutions to DRR Livelihoods Programme in ASAL regions of Tenges / East Pokot- Barpelo Mission (Baringo; Diocese of Lodwar (Nakumurwo irrigation project); Diocese of Embu (Ishiara Parish livelihood and youth), PREMAP (Isiolo), Wenje Parish (Tana River), Hura-Hura and North Horr Goat Projects in Marsabit. Others were Subawanga and Mbeya Provinces (Southern Highlands Network Projects-Tanzania. My career spanning a period of over 20 years includes practical / competence based training with Baraka Agricultural College and CBOs, experience in the fields of human resource management, administration, general management and as a development Liaison person with NGOs and Networks such as PELUM , ANAFE, ICRAF, Trocaire Kenya, Miserior-Germany, Self-Help Africa among others). I have consulted in several projects taking lead roles as a Community mobilizer, Trainer of Trainees and Rural Development facilitator in livelihood and community development portfolios.
