I received my PhD degree in electrical engineering under the supervision of Prof. Zhe Chen at the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University (ET-AAU), Denmark in 2013. Since Dec. 2014, I started to work as a postdoc researcher under Prof. Hans Kristian Høidalen at the Department of Electrical Power Engineer, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU-Norway). Now I am working as a postdoc fellow under Prof. Marjan Popov at Department of Electrical Sustainable Energy, TU Delft, Netherlands.
My Ph.D. research topic is “Multi-Agent System Based Special Protection and Emergency Control Scheme against Cascading Events in Power System”, thereafter as a research assistant in AAU, my research has been extended to protection schemes of distribution system with wind power integration, and wind power reliability assessment. When I worked as a postdoc in NTNU, I continue to focus on protection and control for modern power systems and digital substation considering renewable energy integration. Now as for my present work in TU Delft, my work is more related to design and development of DC circuit breaker and DC protection system.
During my research work, I have been involved in several research projects in cooperation with both academia and industry, and published more than 20 scientific papers in the area of power system protection in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
So far, I have obtained quite good knowledge and research experience in the areas of power system modelling & analysis, power system protection & control, renewable energy, digital substation, power system stability, dynamic security assessment, power system communication, real time simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing, etc.
I believe I would be a good fit for any position in Energy or Electrical Engineering.
