This international scientific conference in the Academy building of University of Groningen takes place on the Thursdy the 6th and Friday the 7th of July with a full programme with plenty of interesting lectures, (keynote) speakers, networking moments, drinks and celebrations.
The conference programme features speakers from around the globe, who are bringing their knowledge together at the University of Groningen. Keynote speakers include Professor Philomena Essed, Professor Glenn Adams, Professor Jonathan Jansen and Dr. Saran Stewart. Other speakers include Clarice Gargard, journalist and Dutch UN women’s representative, Professor Janet Thompson Jackson, and many more.

The afternoon programme of the conference consists of different tracks, covering subjects such as the analysis, measuring and implementing of social inclusion from institutional, academic and activist perspectives, inclusive societies and sustainable peace, the ways that diversity impacts society, ethics and integrity, intersectional perspectives, decolonizing methodologies and inclusive schools for inclusive societies.
Important speakers at this conference are, if possible, invited to also speak during the Night of Arts and Science.
On Wednesday the 5th of June a pre-conference event takes place at 13:00h: Gender Quotas in Films and Music? On the same day between 13.00 and 17.00 there will be a Charity Pop Up Café in the garden of University College Groningen (Hoendiepskade 23/24).
