IHE Delft has been cooperating with the development of new international networks with experts from India, South Africa and Canada, promoting Water Environment Energy and Society.
Four years ago as part of this initiative, Dr. Gerald Corzo joined in building the concept of a new association (IAWEES) aiming at promoting research and sharing knowledge.
Every two years various experts from different countries gather to share their results. This year, due to Covid-19, the international IMESA Conference, was cancelled. However, to keep the links and provide an update of the main areas of development, the international workshop on ‘Application of Remote Sensing and GIS for Water, Environment, Land and Society’ will be held online from December 1 to 3, 2020. The schedule of the workshop , including the experience of various experts from around the world, is available in the brochure that can be downloaded in the right hand column.
This event is jointly organized by the International Association for Water, Environment, Energy and Society (IAWEES) and IHE Delft in association with Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), CSIR-Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (CSIR-AMPRI), M. P. Water and Land Management Institute (WALMI), The NorthCap University (NCU) and Dr. C.V. Raman University (CVRU. I have finalized the program for the scheduled International Workshop and attaching the same for your kind perusal.
