The NXT Conference Making a Living from the Arts brings together academics from all over Europe, cultural professionals, cultural entrepreneurs and artists who will address the challenges that the contemporary arts sector is facing and explore the creative solutions that are being developed. The NXT Conference is a dynamic event, which aims to stimulate a critical debate on what is meant with cultural entrepreneurship in and outside academia.

During two days, the NXT conference will offer a variety of presentations and discussions on selected topics. Keynote speakers will address the values, beliefs, and myths of entrepreneurship and the arts. In addition to this, different entrepreneurial initiatives and involvement of entrepreneurship in higher arts education will be highlighted. During the parallel sessions, the delegates will have the opportunity to discuss selected topics in small groups and therefore be interactively involved in the topic.
