This year’s theme will be “Drowning in Plastics”.

Prof. Merle de Kreuk will be opening the event, prof. Wim Uijttewaal will speak about his research in ‘plastic-free rivers’, Bram Martijn from PWN will be talking about a state-of-the-art filtration system for microplastic removal, and Geert-Jan Willems from Sabic will be talking about the possibilities of plastic recycling. Moreover, companies that relate to the topic are invited to provide a case study, and/or be present at the symposium.
