Synergy 2020

On 6 February 2020 researchers, directors, policy makers and professionals from societal organisations involved in SSH research will meet during this thought-provoking and inspiring conference.

Changing Societies

Our world is changing constantly. This affects the Social Sciences and Humanities in many different ways: the main societal issues we focus on, the availability of funding, but also the way research is done and valued. At the same time is the world influenced by the knowledge and innovation that comes from SSH-research. This reciprocity between science and society will be our main theme this year.

NWO-SSH aims with this conference to establish good connections between the different disciplines and researchers within the SSH domain and between science and society. Such connections will strengthen the position of the Social Sciences and Humanities within the Netherlands and beyond.
