On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Wageningen University & Research (WUR) and the visit of its President, professor Louise O. Fresco, to New Zealand, the Netherlands ambassador Mira Woldberg will host an WUR alumni reception.
To commemorate the contributions of Wageningen to science and education, a number of scientific and societal events within the domains Life, Food and Earth will take place all over the world. It offers students, staff and alumni the opportunity to reflect on past achievements and to be inspired by the future.
All Wageningen alumni and researchers from across New Zealand with a WUR connection are invited. This special occasion will take place on Friday 7 December, 3pm - 5pm, at the Netherlands Ambassador’s residence in Wellington.
Prof. Fresco and a representative of the New Zealand Government (tbc) will give short introductions followed by 4-5 elevator pitches to showcase NZ - NL joint research and innovation projects. Refreshments to follow as food connects people!
