Last week, Nuffic Neso Turkey in collaboration with Economic Diplomatic Network of the Netherlands in Turkey organised a conference addressing most recent trends in employee recruitment processes, creating personal branding on social media, new graduate skills vs. employer expectations as well as managing and sustaining talent with the generation Y.
It was well-received by the audience, around 60 guests, that consisted of Turkish students, Holland Alumni, Dutch and Turkish companies.
“The conference opened up new horizons! It was an inspiring experience to listen to such speakers with different profiles and success stories. There was enough time for each speaker and for us, as audience, to elaborate with further discussions. In general, it was a fit for purpose and successful event!” said one of the participants.
It was also great collaboration that the Consulate General offered simultaneous translation throughout the half day conference which was followed by the reception at the historically stunning Palais de Holland hosted by the Consul-General Robert Schuddeboom.
“I am very pleased with the outcome of the conference and our collaboration with the Economic Diplomatic Network of the Netherlands in Turkey. Education and business world are closely connected! We managed to address several aspects of HR processes with our excellent speakers and actively participating audience including Holland Alumni.” emphasised Yavuz Yilmazoglu, Chief Representative Officer of Nuffic Neso Turkey.
There was a good balance of academe, industry and new graduates amongst speakers coming from Philips Lighting Turkey, MEF University Istanbul and a new graduate of renowned Istanbul University, Randstad Turkey as well as Mercedes-Benz Turkey.
Nuffic Neso Turkey, for the first time, broadcasted the conference sessions on their Neso Turkey Facebook page and the videos are available (in Turkish) on www.facebook.com/nesoturkey
