During the Innovation Relay in Amsterdam on 14 April, Minister of Economic Affairs Henk Kamp signed the City Deal Warm Welcome Talent. The goal of this City Deal is to increase the Netherlands’ attractiveness for ambitious international entrepreneurs. The project focusses on start-ups, scale-ups and entrepreneurs in the creative sector, as this group contributes significantly to the economy and enriches the Dutch business sector with innovative ideas and valuable networks.

The cities of Amsterdam, The Hague, Eindhoven and Groningen will work closely together with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, The Ministry of Security and Justice and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment to reach the goals set by this City Deal. They will be supported by executive government organisations, like IND and RVO, as well as a number of other involved organisations.

Customer Journey research
The experience of ambitious entrepreneurs is central when looking to improve the international entrepreneur climate in the Netherlands. For this reason, an extensive Customer Journey research will be executed in the coming months, in order to create an insight into the perspective of the most important target groups. Based on the results of this research, proposals will be formulated with the involved partners.
