How to create an account

Everyone with an international mindset that has study or work experience in the Netherlands is eligable to create an account as a Holland Alumni on the Holland Alumni network. Moreover, the platform is also open to relevant organisations such as education institutions, Dutch embassies and ministries.

The easiest way to create an account is by going to the homepage. Click on the button that applies to you: alumni&students or organisations


1. student/alumni account

Click on "alumni & students" on the homepage  and click on "register" or go to about us>info for students&alumni>register

Keep in mind that you need to fill out the required fields.

Note that the year behind Dutch education institution is your study end date. So in this case the study end date is 2018.  Agree with the privacy policy and click on "register". You receive an mail with an activiation link. Click on the activation link and you will be redirected to the website and are asked to enter your password and to agree  with the terms and conditions.  Note that the activation link is only valid for 48 hours. 

 A secondary email screen will pop-up. Here you can enter a secundary email adress or skip this step. We do recommend you to fill this in. 

Now your account has been succesfully created and activated. You receive a confirmation mail. 

2. Student/alumni account without Dutch education experience

Follow the steps above and select "not applicable" at Dutch Higher Education Institution

3. Organisation account

Click on "organisations" on the homepage and on "register" or go to about us>info for organisations>request an account. Fill in your information. Under 'organisation info' you can browse the existing directory and add your company or create a new company (you can skip the NAF code if your company is not French)

Register directly by clicking on "register" and an administrator will validate your account request. After the administrator has validated your account you can successfully log in. The first time you log in, you will receive a pop-up screen that asks you to agree with the terms and conditions

If you want to make a job offer immediately,  click on "sign in and publish an offer". 


Here you can enter the job details and press preview this offer. After checking everything you can either press change the offer or post the offer. An administrator will validate your account request and job offer. You will receive an email when your account and job offer have been validated.
